Exuding Elegance, lux, lush and lively home design

Opulence, elegance and splendour are the words one would use to describe this interior design aesthetic. Many in the industry may even view it as a derivative of the grandmillenial design style.

As the interior designer I needed to create the feeling of finding oneself in an elegant and luxurious space. Colours like gold are perfect to create this effect, pairing that with other tones that are generally associated with luxury like green solidifies the vibe. This style is a recreation of antique designs and architecture so it is very important to consider lighting placement. One the most important aspects of this design is the hidden lighting that does not intrude on the design itself.

Despite wanting the place to drip with grandeur the true testament to being stylish is finding the balance. The use of white and cream on some of the walls does exactly that.
